| Padmalaya land taken back |
|
The state government recently took back a part of land belonging to Padmalaya studios. The move comes in the wake of an unconvincing reply from superstar Krishna to the show cause notice by the government. The government asked Krishna why the land should not be taken back as the studios has violated the agreement and sold part of the land. Padmalaya sold about 5.33 acres of the 9.5 acres o ZEE Telefilms. The land is reportedly worth Rs 180 crore. Revenue officials took back possession of the land and put up a sign shoeing it as government land. The move by the government has come as a surprise to many as Krishna is reportedly close not only to the Congress but also the chief minister YS Rajasheka Reddy. |
