| 'Antima Teerpu' based on Bible |

A new film on Jesus Christ has been recently lauched. The title of the film is 'Antima Teerpu'. J Rajendra has scripted the story and is also wielding the megaphone. D Mallesh is producing the film on the banner of 'Amaravati Movies'. The formal launch of the shooting was held at Annapurna Studios. Ravindra Bharati chairman Uppuluri Mallikharjuna Sharma gave the clap, Congress leader Mallu Ravi switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturised on K Krishna under the honorary direction of former MLA Chittaranjan Das. K Krishna is playing the role of Jesus Christ. Producer Mallesh says, 'We are making the film with Bible as the base. The film is not being made exclusively for Christians but for the benefit of all those who believe in God. The regular shooting of the film would begin by the end of the month and would be completed in two schedules. The film will be shot at Vizianagaram, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Papikondalu in the State, Chitradurga in Karnataka and some other beautiful locations in Kerala. Director Rajender says, 'The film basically discusses about the re-entry of Jesus Christ into the world. I have a long association with the film industry and I am working on the script for the past one year.' Krishna, who plays Jesus Christ in the film is quite experienced. He played the role of Jesus Christ in an English film produced in Canada. Babumohan, Narra Venkateswara Rao, Jeeva, Ashokkumar, Suttivelu, Chittibabu and others are in the lead cast. Manishri Prasad has penned the lyrics, camera by SVS, Udaybhaskar will edit the film, while Bheri Uma Mahesh is providing music. |
