| Dil Raju bags 'Jagadam' distribution rights |
|
Young producer Dil Raju knows the pulse of a commercial film formula and the business strategy. On the one hand he has been producing successful films like 'Dil, Arya, Bhadra and Bommarillu'. On the other hand, he continued to remain a successful distributor. He is presently making a film 'Munna', with Prabhas as hero. At the same time, he had bagged the distribution rights of 'Jagadam' which is creating ripples and got a good hype even as the film is on sets. It may be mentioned here that there were rumours that differences erupted between Dil Raju and director Sukumar. Dil Raju who had introduced Sukumar as director through 'Arya' and also announced that he would produce his next film again with Sukumar. It was also said that Allu Arjun is going to play hero in that film. However, the project failed to take shape, as Dil Raju did not like the story narrated by Sukumar. But, Sukumar remained vacant for one full year. Finally, Sukumar came out of Dil Raju's camp. Adityababu accepted the same story which was rejected by Dil Raju and gave Sukumar a chance to direct the film with Ram of 'Devadasu'-fame as hero. The film had completed shooting and other formalities but for the canning of a song. It was planned to release the film in April. Knowing the abilities of Sukumar fully well, 'Dil' Raju bagged the rights of Nizam area for the distribution of 'Jagadam'. Sukumar had a spark in direction and the publicity by 'Dil' Raju would make it a definite blockbuster again. |
