Puri Jagannath, who had directed 'Desamuduru' claimed that his latest film is doing very good and earning very good collections. Puri says, 'It is very common for my films that they would first get a divided talk and then a hit talk from the second week. The collections of 'Desamuduru' were highest among all the previous films of Allu Arjun. I could remind you that 'Pokiri' which had broke several past records of the Telugu film industry also got a divided talk and no one expected such a massive success. This film had earned good response and we are getting lots of SMS messages and also online messages that the film was a big hit. Moreover, Allu Arjun worked for four hours a day to tone up his body to suit the character. The locations in the film, the heroine, songs, music and everything suited best to the subject. Ali's comedy track also remained a highlight. This is my first victory in this year right in the beginning.' |
