| 'Okka Magaadu' shoots at Lepakshi |

The shooting of 'Okka Magaadu' directed and produced by YVS Choudary on the banner of Bommarillu with Balakrishna, Anushka and Nisha Kothari in the lead and Simran playing a special role, is progressing at Lepakshi temple in Anantapur district. Presently, a song 'Devaa... Devaadi Deva... Mahadevaa...' is being canned under the dance direction of Amma Rajasekhar and Suchitra. The film has music from Manisharma. Some scenes are being were also shot on Chalapati Rao and Vijayachander. Thousands of people gathered at the shooting spot and the police too failed to control the surging crowds. At one stage the police were forced to resort to minor lathi charge. However, executive producer Kommineni Venkateswara Rao says, 'A large number of Balakrishna fans reached the place when we are shooting in a small street. This had forced us to change the shooting location. It did not make any difference.' As Balakrishna had a mention about his entry into politics during a recent interview, several politicians also met Balakrishna at the shooting spot. Notable among them is Kadapa mayor Ravindranath Reddy. However, it is learnt that it was a friendly meet, as both of them has good friendship. |
