| 'Yatra' cleared by Censor Board |
|
'Yatra' directed by Goutham Ghosh with Nana Patekar and Rekha in the lead finally got clearance from the Censor Board. This is the only Indian film that was screened at the Montreal Film Festival. Goutham Ghosh, talking about censor rules says, 'I have no knowledge about the special rule laid down by Animal Welfare Board that the birds should not be put in cage. We were forced to shoot that scene for a flashback scene and it not even unusual or against the law. However, it is our responsibility to follow the rules. We are planning to release the film in the first half of February.' |
