| Gummadi plays 'Kasinayana' |
|
Noted artiste Gummadi Venkateswara Rao had made his reentry into the films after a long gap for a film depicting the greatness of Kasinayana, a great philosopher of Kadapa and Kurnool districts. His teachings are being moulded on the celluloid and Gummadi is playing the title role in this film directed by Sivakumar Reddy. The shooting of the film 'Kasinayana Jeevitha Charitra' is in progress in Kadapa districts. Some important scenes were shot at Jyothi Kshetram, Gangannapalle Ashram areas recently. Gummadi says, 'After reading about the life and teachings of Kasinayana, I got attracted to the story and agreed to play the character. When I review my 55 year old film career, I feel immense satisfaction for doing several characters which are quite memorable.' Shanti is the producer of the film, while Dr Shouri Reddy is supervising the production and direction. |
