| Arjun to play the role of 'Veerappan' |
|
Noted sandalwood smuggler Veerappan gave several sleepless nights to the Tamil Nadu and Karnataka police. His caricature was used to evoke comedy in various films so far. Now, his life history is going to take a celluloid shape in which Action King Arjun would play 'Veerappan' role. Another speciality in the film is that Veerappan's wife Muthu Lakshmi is also playing her real life role on the reel life. It may be recalled here that Veerappan had kidnapped Kannada Kantheerava Dr Rajkumar and kept with him for some months. The incident is also being carried in a scene in which Super Star Krishna playing the role of Dr Rajkumar. The film is being made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. MMR Ramesh is going to direct the movie. |
