Music director Vaidyanathan is no more

Popular music director Vaidyanathan, who gave melodious music to several films and earned a good name at national and international level died at Chennai on May 19. He was 70 and is survived by his wife and two sons. He was the second person among the popular violin trio - Shankar, Vaidyanathan, Subrahmanyan. His son L Ganeshan was also a music director. He gave music for films like 'Salam Bombay, Pushpaka Vimanam, Ramayanam (Telugu Re-recording), Hrudayanjali (Telugu), Pudiya Tiruppam (Tamil), Chomanadudi (Kannada)'. It is surprising that he had provided music for the Telugu version of 2D animation film 'Lavakusa' and completed the recording of songs, a few days before his death. All the popular film personalities expressed their deep shock at the death of Vaidyanathan and condoled his death.
