Director Rituporno Ghosh met Madhuri Dixit at her home in Mumbai for a film. She fell in love with the story at once. For this project he is looking at a bright young actor Vikash Sethi for a major role. "He reminds me of the younger Shah Rukh Khan. Given a chance this boy can really shine", Ritu says. This would be Ritu's second Hindi film after 'Raincoat' featuring Ajay Devgan and Aishwarya Rai.
