Miss Ireland Rosanna Davison on Saturday night crowned Miss World at a glittering ceremony in Sanya, a picturesque seaside city in south China.

Miss Canada joins Miss Ireland as first runner up.

Miss China enters the final three as second runner up.

Miss India Ami Vashi was among the top five.

Davison had earlier topped the Miss World Beach beauty segment and was a favourite among webmasters and bookies.
