Jaya Bachchan is getting into politics through Samajwadi Party to be a member of Rajya Sabha. Mr. and Mrs. Bachchan is waiting for the result of Upper House election on 28th June. Her priority would be youth, literacy for women and care for mentally and physically challenged children. Big B says, "This is third time that Jaya has been offered the honour, and this time she decided to accept it. There was no special reason for her to accept the nomination this time, but it's her decision and I respect it. We've always had an open and free undertsanding among us. She thinks that Parliament is the right forum for getting more involved."
