Singer Abhijeet stays out of Kolkata but he can't resist the temptation of Bengali songs and food. He never forgets to sing his favourite Bengali numbers at shows in Kolkata. He also misses the rides in local bus and train. In the matter of food, he says, "I love puchkas and enjoy having them from the roadside vendors. Since, I have become known it has been impossible for me to stand by the road and have puchka. I definitely enjoy my popularity but simultaneously miss such small but important thing in life."
