Pakistani President General Parvez Musharraf has ordered 100 CDs of music director Pandit Somesh Mathur's album 'Asha - A brand New Album' to be gifted to his friends and relatives in Pakistan. Excited Mathur says, "The consulate in Delhi had initially bought and sent some 10 CDs. But, President Musharraf was very impressed with the album. I think it's an honour, since the music has transcended borders." Asha Bhosle feels good to have people across borders listen and appreciate singer from India. She says, "Recently I received a mail from the mother of a 11-month-old child, informing that the kid refuses to sleep until the song 'Aaj Jaane ki zidd' from the same album is not played. It is truly touching."
