A R Rehman finally agreed to give music for Jagmohan Mundhra's next film, 'Provoked'. It stars Aishwarya Rai, Nandita Das, Naveen Andrews, Robbie Coltrane and Karen Shenaz David. "I wanted to work with Rehman 10 years ago for my film, 'Tropical Heat' for producer Ashok Amritraj. He turned down my offer then but this time when I approached him, he wanted to see the rushed of the film. After seeing the rough cut, he agreed to compose music for the film", Mundhra explains. He adds, "Music is important in my film as the protagonist doesn't say much. Her inner anger will depict through the music. There will be only one song, which I will use as the title track."
