Director Abhigyan Jha was contemplating on casting Rekha for the role of Ipsita Roy Chakraverti in 'Sacred Evil', which in real played by Sarika. "Ipsita has an enigmatic personality and a very royal way of carrying herself. In the Hindi film industry, we have very few artistes that elude such charm and Rekha is one of them. Of course, the fact that Rekha has been Ipsita's disciple for a long time and knows her very well was addiction reason to cast her. After seeing the film, I have no regrets. Sarika has done a wonderful job. In fact, those who have seen the film and know Ipsita personally fell that Sarika is just an extension of her, " he explains.
