Earlier Rituporno Ghosh had signed Sanjay Suri for a lead role in the Hindi version of 'Sunglass'. Now Madhavan is all set to step in that role. Ghosh explains, "As the script grew I needed a man with a mischievous smile, a naughty glint in the eye and a devilish demeanor. The role seemed tailor-made for Maddy. I approached him with much trepidation since there was no time. As luck would have it, he agreed." When contacted, Madhavan says, "Its not just temptation of working with Ritu. It's the entire team of Naseeruddin Shah, Jayaji and Konkona."
