Fardeen Khan visit to Shillong to meet Hasina Kharbhih (Yuva Star of the Haath Se Haath Mila campaign whose video is currently on air) who has been working for the last ten years towards raising HIV and AIDS awareness in the North East. After this trip the number of paanwallas selling condoms were increase. They even organize a rock concert in Shillong where Fardeen boldly talked about safe sex and faced the questions. He told people that he himself had undergone an AIDS test. The actor was so impressed by Hasina that he donated Rs 1 lakh for the cause. When asked, he simply said, "Yes I donate some money to the project but let's not highlight that."
