Mahender Singh Dhoni's childhood idol is Amitabh Bachchan. On the other hand, Big B is a die-hard fan of Dhoni. The two met on a film's set in Filmcity, Mumbai. Dhoni was shooting for an ad film and Big B was also shooting in the same place. When Big B knew it he sent in a word asking him if they could meet. A unit member says, "At first Dhoni couldn't believe his luck. He thought someone was pulling a fast one on him, but when he realized the truth, he sent a message saying it wouldn't be polite for Mr. Bachchan to come and see him - instead, after his shoot he himself would come and meet him. And of course, Dhoni finished his shoot and rushed to the nearby set to meet his idol."
