Rekha's second cabaret number will be 'Kabhi aar kabhi paar laga teer-e nazar' remix number in Gautam Ghose's upcoming film 'Yatra'. Rekha is the protagonist and Nana Patekar is a novelist. The film moves on two levels - 1) it undertakes a physical trip and 2) there's a fictional journey. The number occurs when Nana re-visits Rekha in Hyderabad's Mehndi Gali. But in the evening her character goes back to singing traditional music. Ghose says, "Rekha loves playing mysterious characters. That's why I chose her. Rekha wants me to make Rabindranath Tagore's 'Binodini' with her in the lead. In Yatra she plays her own age."
