Earlier Farhan Akhtar wrote the script of remake 'Don' having Hrithik Roshan in his mind. Before casting Shah Rukh Khan, Farhan thought Hrithik would be the best for the role. "I wrote the film with Hrithik in mind, but when I developed the final draft, I realized the role needs a mature actor and that's when we decided to approach SRK," explains Farhan.
