Recently the unit of Welcome got a taste of yet another instance of the actorís characteristically offbeat behaviour. An assistant director, who was assigned the task of being the clapper boy on that particular day, kept fumbling and goofing up, as he was nervous in the presence of a senior actor like Feroz Khan.
The film's director, Anees Bazmee, and Nana Patekar both lost their cool as the assistant director just couldn't get the clap right, which upset the rhythm of the actors. According to an onlooker, Anees in particular lost his temper as he wasnít feeling too well that day. Thatís when Nana suddenly stepped forward, took the clap board from the assistant and announced that he would be the clapper boy for the entire day. Anees Bazmee says that Nana gave the claps the entire day. Everyone says that he is one of the most difficult people to deal with. However, he was really good with the clapper board that day. He adds also that On that day, he knew that I was losing my temper as I wasnít well. Thatís when Nana took the responsibility of giving the clap through that day.Ē
