This is a story of three men who work for the Indian Air Force. Ladies man, Siddharth (Jimmy Shergill) is a dare devil fighter pilot. Despite his romantic interludes with women, he finally falls in love with Surbhi (Richa Pallod), a rich man's daughter. When it comes to flying, Siddharth is always in competition with his arrogant friend Sameer (Sameer Dharamadhikari). Sameer is unaware that Anjana (Shamita Shetty), a chopper pilot also in the Air Force, is secretly in love with him. Vishal (Rahul Dev) on the other hand is the most subdued of the three characters. He is one rank senior and newly married to Nupur (Divya Dutta). Confusing stuff! However their romance is put aside when the political relationship between India and Pakistan worsens and they are called into action.
Produced by Dhilin Mehta and Seema Kar, this film brings forth the courage, sacrifice, love and hatred of people who know what it is to give up everything for their country, out of sheer love for it... this film once again revokes emotions that have been suppressed into the Indian psyche and conscience. Pritam Chakrabortry heightens the mood of the film with his music.
The producers of Agni Pankh, which hasn't generated much hype, may have reason for concern.
